Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Green Cap, 10mil PTFE Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. This septa was designed for specific, older instruments such as Agilent 1050 and to provide extra cleaning when "wiping" a needle. Also provides a small degree of better resealing after injection compared to Silicone Rubber / PTFE Septa.

The silicone rubber (for optimal sealing), and polypropylene fitted liners (for inertness) are excellent for storage of your sample before or after chromatography. These caps do not contain PTFE. Use with AQ™ Brand or RSA™ brand 9mm screw thread autosampler vials for best performance and sealing.
